Cynthia & Blairs Cathedral of the Madeleine Wedding Highlight Film was perfect from the beginning. Right as the bell was rung to start the ceremony, I heard Blair say, “Is this it?” You could hear the excitement and anticipation in his voice and it showed the rest of the day. We did a few shots of the family and friends right after the ceremony by the alter and then a few more of just the two of them outside the Cathedral before heading to Wadley Farms reception center in Lindon. These two families were so much fun to be with all day. As they introduced the bride and groom to start the dinner/reception, Cynthia & Blair did their first dance and it was great. It was not like my own first dance where we just hugged each other and slowly spun in a circle while the music played. They obviously had practiced and choreographed their dance, much to the delight of their family and friends. When they finished, their family and friends had a flash mob song and dance for them. It was great!! Then Blair sang a very touching rendition of the song “Heaven”, for Cynthia while playing the acoustic guitar. Near the end of the dinner, Cynthia’s sister played a power point on our large screen projector system that she had put together for Cynthia & Blair. I do not want to know how much time she put into it, it was perfect!! And then the dancing began and it was non stop the rest of the night until they left. As i’ve seen so many times, the best way to end the night is to leave in one of Something Vintage, Something Blue’s cars. Talk about class!! Seeing the smile on their faces as they ran past all of their guests and then got into this classic vintage car was a perfect ending to a perfect day. And then as they drove away, that iconic horn from that classic car sealed the night forever. To have captured another wedding like this just makes me thankful for the career path I have chosen. To be able to be with people as amazing as Cynthia & Blair on their wedding day and to film it, capture it, and then create an amazing wedding video/film for them to cherish for the rest of their lives…. yea, I love my job.
