Last weekend in Newport Beach we combined some bridals at the temple along with the temple pictures. Janessa was so much fun to photograph and I loved watching these two interact with each other. Both families were there to support them, and they were having way too much fun together. What a beautiful day for a wedding!!! And what a beautiful temple.

Sometimes two people are just meant to be together - Michelle and Tyler and those two. I loved the way they interacted together, the way he treated her, and the way that she laughed at his jokes. I love that they met at a shoe store, and wore MATCHING blue shoes on their wedding day. I love that he is a guitar teacher (I love the guitar) and that he taught her to play, and they played a song together at their reception and then he sang a song he wrote for her. And I love the dance they made up and performed at their reception.... Congrats you two, I have a feeling you two have a lot of good times together!!!! I loved shooting your wedding!

Lisa & Christian were a breath of fresh air to work with. They were so much fun and so in love. They were a very unique couple that we were able to make a great video with. I had to throw in the shot with the red sour straws. They had like four bags with them that we would snack on going from location to location. Never a dull moment with these two.

Ok so this has to be one of my favorite weddings of all time. Joanna and Matt have the best families ever. They were so great to be around. It was so nice to get out of the bitter cold here in Utah and Travel to Sunny San Diego for Joanna and Matt's wedding. It actually sprinkled a little bit at the temple, which I was surprised at. After the Temple we went over to the famous Hotel Del Coronado, where we got some stunning shots. The sun was out the sky was blue and i've never felt softer sand in my life. This hotel is where Joanna's Grandfather worked for like 50 years as a maintenance worker, so it had a special meaning to their family to get some shots there. Matt is a stud and loved the camera. We could have done a whole shoot with just him. Joanna is so beautiful and happy. You really could see a light in her eyes on her wedding day. Thanks guys for letting us share in your incredibly special day.

Caitlin & Joe were so much fun to shoot. It was freezing cold outside, but they stuck it out so we could get everything we needed for the video and photos. I usually just post the 2nd song of the temple, but I wanted to post the whole thing for this one. There was so much love in this family. Caitlin has 3 older brothers who love her so much, it's so great to see that much love in a family. The mood of the last song is a bit different than I usually like to edit too, but I love how this video turned out. Caitlin has such an elegance about her and the song is so fitting, so romantic. The video had everyone in tears at the reception, which means I did my job.

Melanie & Ryan's Ceremony

I wish I could just put Melanie and Ryan's entire
wedding on here just raw as it happened. There
was seriously not a single dull moment the whole
day. From the crazy dancing down the aisle to
the choreographed first dance with the whole bridal
party to baby got back to the bridesmaid who gave
her toast as a free-style rap. The whole thing
was just great. Well here is their ceremony video.
I hope I was able to do it some justice.

After all these years, finally I got to film a wedding at the Mesa Temple. For
whatever reason, the Mesa Temple has eluded me. Every time someone called
to book us for Mesa, we were already booked, so when Natalie called and I was
available, I was so excited. Fortunately, the weather was perfect and everything
went great! It sure was nice to get into some warm weather for a change.

in the WEVA CEA competition. It's an international
competition where people submit videos from all over
the world.It is comparable to winning an oscar.
It is a great honor to have won this award 2 years in a row.

OK. I had a lot of catching up to do. I just posted several
videos from the past few weeks that I loved. This was the
latest one that was just great. It always makes our jobs
better when we can tell the couple is in love and Erika and
Riley were definitely in love. The best part was, they
stayed about 30 minutes longer with just me, so I was able
to direct all the shots and I loved it.

This turned out to be a perfect day. We went to Antelope Island
for a few hours and got some of the best shots ever. Thankfully,
I remembered to bring bug spray so we only got a few bug bites.

This is the Same Day Edit from Meghan and Cole's Wedding Last week. It was out at the Manti Temple. It's always fun to go out there but a little tought hiking down the hill in the snow. The snow didn't stop these two Cole swept her off her feet and walked most of the way down the hill before they both fell to the ground, but they got right up and kept going. They were real troopers. Unfortuantely the fall is not in the video. We try to keep the videos as romantic as possible.

Patrick & Christine's Ceremony

A few weeks ago we had the chance to fly out to
Newport Beach, CA to shoot this wedding. It
was a very beautiful wedding with great people.
The sun went down completely during the ceremony
so that was kind of tough. Good thing we were prepared
with a light so they could even be seen at the end of the
ceremony. Patrick plays for the Houston Dynamo soccer
team and also played on Team USA in the Olympics recently.

then we had to run...literally. Danielle and
Spencer were blessed to have like that in the
middle of all the storms we've had lately.

It was a little chilly at the Salt Lake Temple with
Brent & Jennifer. I shot this wedding with Sydney
from impressions by sydney. We had a lot of fun
working together. Brent & Jennifer were so easy

Utah Central Clinic - A Celebration of Life

What an honor to be chosen to do this video. The
Utah Central Clinic sponsors a Christmas Concert
every year and this year they wanted to start the
concert with a video about cancer survivors. The
concert was last night at the McKay Events Center
at UVU and featured Kurt Bestor.

It's always fun when you get to know the bride and groom
a little bit before the wedding day. We shot a save the date
video and Sarah's bridals. We also did their photography
which always makes everything better. My favorite part of
the day was at the reception when Sarah had a special bouquet
for Adam's Aunt. It was one of those moments I will never forget.

It was a very quiet day at the Salt Lake Temple. Only two weddings.
We pretty much had the place to ourselves. Also Becca and Brian's
photographer had done most of their pictures on another day
so I had lots of fun taking them around with just me and them.
There is just a little bit of color left in the trees so we took advantage
of that. Becca and Brian were so great to work with so nice and easy
going. Becca's dress was gorgeous.

Another great day at the SL Temple. Caroline and
Eric were awesome to work with. Eric couldn't keep
from smiling the whole time. It was a little bit chilly
outside, but that didn't stop us. Caroline's dress was
so elegant, she looked stunning in it.

It was a great day for a wedding today. A little chilly but not
too bad. We had lots of fun with these two today. They were
great to work with. We had to help mother nature along
by throwing some leaves on them as they kissed. One of
the leaf raker ladies got real mad at us and told us we needed
to leave right now. It was pretty funny. Great song choices,
I love editing to upbeat fun songs.

It was a little weird shooting with like
6 inches of snow on the ground at the
same time as the fall colors still in the trees.
It wasn't too cold though. Cortnee and Chad were
so happy and so much fun to work with. Chad's friends
kept chanting his name throughout the night. It was
pretty funny.

I love this time of year with all the vibrant colors
in the trees. It was a beautiful day at the temple
today. Over cast with the sun peeking through
occasionally. Lacey and Dewey were really great
to work with. Lacey is a frequent visitor to our
blog so hopefully she will enjoy watching her
own video as much as she has enjoyed watching
everyone elses. These two were so nice to me
and everyone else around them.
