We were featured on the BrideAccess.com TV show October 14th, 2007 because of our reputation for having very smooth shots in the wedding videos we create. The funny thing was when the show aired, some people couldn't tell the difference between the steady tracker shots and the handheld. They told me that I should have purposely made it look bad but I don't know how to do that. But trust me, there really is a difference. They only showed two shots which are relatively easy to do handheld for a professional. Where you get the biggest benefit from a Steady Tracker is the incredibly smooth long shots where you are literally running around the bride and groom or when you need that dutch angle while moving toward or away from the bride and groom. Can we create a good wedding video without a Steady Tracker? Yes, but I wouldn't recommend it. Since we started using it, our referrals have skyrocketed.
