Ciera & Clinton - Photo Booth Highlight Video

Ciera & Clinton had one awesome wedding & party!!  The photo booth was definitely the highlight of the evening and all the kids kept coming back for more pictures the whole night.  Ciera just emailed me and asked to give a review of our services.  She said,
“Pointe Digital did an amazing Job and was very professional. We will definitely use them and recommend them to everyone in the future! !”
Thank You Ciera and Clinton.  We look forward to seeing you at many more events. Here is the highlight video we created of their guests using the photo booth.

Amy and Jordan

What to wear, what to wear? Isn't it everyone's favorite questions when it comes to an engagement session?? I love the variety of the THREE different outfits that these guys choose! Super relaxed to Semi Formal! I always try to coordinate where we are shooting with the outfits my couples are wearing. I couldn't help but feel happy while shooting this couple! They are so in love and have so much fun together, I bet they are loved everywhere they go! I can't wait for the wedding!

Laurel & Blake - Las Vegas Wedding HIghlight Film

First off, as you watch this film, you will notice right off how much more intimate a wedding film can be when you have the dinner/luncheon filmed.  Laurel & Blake had a dinner the night before and invited all the guests to introduce themselves and say something about or to the bride and groom.  This made for some very compelling shots that I had to include in the highlight film.  Second, to film a couple that has been together for 8 years and has been apart of each others family lives during that time really made for some deep ties within the wedding.  Both families already knew each other well and that made for a fantastic wedding.  Last, but definitely not least, the love they had for each other was so evident throughout the wedding and dinner, it made my job easy.  The last shot of the film is the two of them looking at each other while they were dancing.  There was no mystery there, there was no doubt.  They are in love, they want to be together, and they would do anything to make that happen.  I was so excited at the end of the reception knowing everything that I had just captured that I could hardly wait to put it all together.  The only thing I left out of the highlight was the mother/son dance.  It was fantastic!!  But, in the end, I wanted the highlight film to be about Laurel and Blake so I have that as a separate video. You can watch it here.

Bob & Lynnettes 45tth Surprise Wedding Anniversary

This was such a neat event to film.  Bob is such an awesome guy.  He's been planning this event for a year now.  She thought she was attending a wedding of one of her nephews.  Little did she know what Bob was up to.  It turned into a full blow re-proposal and vow renewal.  Ending with sparklers and a huge limo to take them away.  I hope i'm half as cool as this guy on my 45th anniversary.  These two met in high school and i'm sure he's been doing stuff like this for the past 45 years.  What a guy.

The Wedding Photo Montage (The Slide Show)

Almost every wedding will have a photo montage a.k.a. slide show. So, this post really shouldn't be news to anyone but if you haven't seen one of our photo montages, you might want to watch the video before you decide you will do it yourself or have your uncle or best friend from elementary school do it. Is there a difference? Probably. Can we do it faster? Most likely. Is ours in high definition? Definitely.

Basically, the photo montage is a photo history of the bride and groom. Sometimes, the pictures are alternated between the bride and groom as they are growing up and sometimes they each get their own section. There is no correct way, this montage should be exactly how you want it. And usually following the growing up pictures, there will be a section of the bride and groom together through their dating, courtship, and engagement pictures (make sure to get permission from your photographer to include those pictures).

One of the most memorable photo montages I ever did was from 7-8 years ago. The couple had me put the pictures of them growing up side by side on the screen - the amazing thing about it....each picture of the bride matched the corresponding picture of the groom. I can't imagine how much time that took to put together. When their guests were watching the video, they were awestruck.

With that said, here is a photo montage from last month that I put together.
